Don't Mess With My Mom

HOORAY FOR MY MOM ! ! !

My Mom won the mayoral election by a landslide!

The end result:
My Ass-Kickin' Mom - 87 votes
Her worthy opponent - 30 votes

Things will soon be changing in one tiny little Wisconsin town.
Remember my predictions?
Anyone hungry for pie?

I'll pass on your messages. She will be happy to have the support. I copied and sent your messages the last time too (although she has no idea I have this blog - thank you in advance for not telling her about it).

I'll also pass on the pie orders. Honestly, she can handle it. For holiday meals, there are at least 8 or 9 different kinds of pie. I don't know how she does it. If the woman can have 15 overnight house guests, make dinner for everyone, follow-up with 9 kinds of pie, and act genuinely happy when you walk in the room, she can manage one tiny little town.

Dick - I'm sure with your charm, she'll do whatever she can. She's a sucker for charming men (that means be really nice to my Mom).
* I'll have time to hook up with your man tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

Kelebek - It's New Auburn; a little town about 30 miles North of Eau Claire. Its a trek for you, but totally worth it for the pie. Great bike trails too.
BTW, I totally love Madison. Its often considered Iowa City's sister town.
