There are a lot of degrading words used to describe girls and women. One of them is “Chick.” Since we rarely resemble small fuzzy farmyard animals, this term is rather absurd. Instead, we've reclaimed the word, reformatted it and are offering a new and improved definition. See the 1st post, Hot Chiks Code, in the Oct. archives.
I'm one of two Hot Chiks hosting this blog. While I strive to be a Super Hero, I'm learning to accept my place in the Universe as The Love Goddess. You'd think I'd be fully satisfied being a popular Diety. However, in my heart-of-hearts, I yearn for mutant-powers, a body-hugging lycra-spandex outfit and a gold lame' cape.

OK I loved your story (though I missed the little girl) and you were the only one who didn't go somewhere dark with it (though I still think I win for darkest) so thanks for bringing us some light. Now I have to ask, what's with the deep subliminal interpretive comments? Sometimes a big blue gorilla is just a big blue gorilla LOL! :-)
After your Big Blue Monkey finished with the little girl, even all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put her back together again. You left me nothing to work with except a desire to run away, Baby.
As far as your Freudian reference, I assume you're talking about my comments on other people's Scheherezade posts. Perhaps, as you say, the Big Blue Monkey is just a Big Blue Monkey, OR perhaps its a big raging hard-on for creative intellectual challenges. Come on, Andy, I have difficult time believing someone as brillliant as yourself would douse my lusty cerebral desires. Is that any way to show your love?
