Success
To laugh often and much;To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
--- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Oh so very true.
Too much of this seems to imply that I've been found dead in some inexplicable location, and THAT I'VE LEFT NOTHING BEHIND! Gah. I wouldn't quite rather watch the Country TV Channels, but it occurs to me.

Very true--something I tend to forget about sometimes because I get wrapped up with the 'big things' in life.
I'm a big fan of the laughing part. And all the other stuff too. Thank goodness I read well read bloggers who can quite this stuff to me. You don't much find it set out in a Robot Chicken episode.
Amen.
